Participate in APC Registration: Young Nigerian Voices Advise Ndigbo

By Cliffsimeon Akalonu

Young Nigerian Voices (YNV), a national youth group comprising of professionals and patriotic Nigerian youths across the 36 States of the federation and the FCT, have called on Ndigbo to take advantage of the ongoing APC membership registration and Revalidation exercise to join the party across the country.

Alhaji Ibrahim Bature, National Coordinator (YNV), stated this when the South East Zone of the group paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Abuja, recently.

In his speech, he tasked the South East, to see reasons to join APC en-masse in the ongoing exercise of the ruling party, “now that the ovation is loud for a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction”.

Alhaji Bature said having strong players at the centre matters a lot in terms of power-sharing and amenities, hence, the reason why the geopolitical region should register en-masse in the party’s registration, now that the window is open.

In his words “Politics is a game of numbers, everything is shared in politics based on numbers”.

“If your region is serious about its agitation for a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction, your people must take advantage of the ongoing exercise of the ruling party to implode the party with your numbers.  You cannot be agitating for Igbo presidency without backing it with action”.

Reacting, Prince Collins Enwere (Aboego), the  South-East Zonal Coordinator, Young Nigerian Voices (YNV), urged South Easterners to play politics the right way, in order to get what they are yearning for.

“The shortest road for Ndigbo to Asorock in 2023 is the APC, hence my appeal to our people to discard the propaganda against President Buhari and the APC and join en-masse, now the window is open”.
