IGP’s to remain in Office till April—Minister

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has been granted tenure elongation for three months by President Muhammadu Buhari. This was revealed by Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi, on Thursday.
The minister disclosed this in an interview with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said the extension was necessary to give room for the proper selection of a successor.
