Third Mainland Bridge: Weather Will Determine Date Of Repair Works

The Lagos State Government has reassured the Citizenry that the postponed repair works on the failed sections of the 3rd Mainland Bridge is still on course and will take place as soon as the weather conditions improves.

Assuring that the preliminaries for the planned repair works with asphalt materials is ready to be delivered on the bridge by the Lagos State Public Works Corporation, the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi urged Motorists to drive with caution on the bridge and observe safety measures.

It would be recalled that the Lagos state government had fixed an earlier date for the repair works, but had to shift it due to unfavourable weather conditions.
