Rep Promises Better Representation, As Leaders Purchase and present Forms

As the build up to the 2023 General elections draw near, the jostle for political offices continues even as more political groups continue to support and purchase party nomination forms for candidates of their choice.

It is on this bases that leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), in the Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State have bought expression of interest and nomination forms for both those seeking re-election and fresh entrants into various elective post from the Senatorial District. Among them are, Hon. Martins Orim, Chief of Staff to Governor Ben Ayade to represent them in the Senate.

Forms were also purchased for Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo, member representing Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku constituency and Hon. Jude Ngaji, member presenting Ogoja/Yala constituency. The expression of interest and nomination forms were presented to them after a meeting in Ogoja. Speaking to journalists while presenting the forms, Chief Tony Undiandeye who represented the Cross River Northern Leaders said they found them worthy of good representation.

According to him, “The North has resolved to work together and have found them worthy to represent the people at the National Assembly.” he said.

Responding, the member Representing the Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Legor Idagbo thanked the party men and pledged to continue representing them in good faith, adding that it will go down in history and will make them work more for the people urging constituents to mobilise en mase and vote for APC in the forthcoming general elections next year.
