NYSC Halts Batch B Registration Portal

ABUJA – The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has closed the registration portal for Batch B potential corps members, attributing it to a malfunction that occurred on Saturday, June 8.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by Eddy Megwa, the Director of Information and Public Relations for NYSC, the portal was halted following the attainment of the designated quota for registrations for the upcoming batch.

Megwa expressed regret to potential corps members unable to register before the portal closure, promising its reopening for Batch B Stream ll at a later, unspecified date.

The NYSC also debunked a fake press release circulating online, which claimed that the registration deadline had been extended.

“Online reporters and bloggers are please expected to confirm the authenticity of issues with NYSC before publishing.”
