Notorious kidnapper, VIP to be arrested soon- Rivers CP
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, has revealed that the command was closing in on a notorious kidnapper and criminal known as VIP, noting that he would be arrested soon.
Mukan stated this during a chat with journalists on the sidelines of a joint service workshop to launch exercise Crocodile Smile VI organized by 6 Division of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt.
He said the miscreant who had been terrorizing the Ahoada area of the state was on the rader of the police command, adding that he had been running from one creek to the another to evade arrest.

“Yes we are on the trail of VIP. We have been on his heels. He has been moving from one creek to another. We have stepped up our hunt for him and we know where he is running to and we after him.
“By God’s grace we are going to bring him down,” he said.
