Hoodlums Attack: Muslim Community pledge support for Ayade

The Muslim Community in Cross River State has pledged full support to Governor Ben Ayade’s administration in his efforts to take the state to a desired destination despite the recent attack by some hoodlums who wrecked havoc on the state’s public and private assets.

The message of the community was conveyed through the Special Adviser to the Governor On Muslim Affairs, Alh.Tanimu Rabiu Hassan and delivered to the governor shortly after the inspection of property destroyed by some hoodlums with him in Calabar and it’s environment.

The Community who sympatise with the Governor over the destructions said efforts are in place by the muslim youths to form neighborhood watch around government assets in their domain.

Hassan commended Governor Ayade for always consider the interest of Muslims in every decision making process of his government,saying the entire community is strongly behind the Governor “during this trying times”.

“ Your Excellency ,I wish to commend your courage and steadfastness in the face of these difficulties and I speak for all Muslims in Cross River State who sent this representatives through the imams and scholars to continue to pray for Allah’s intervention to heal Cross River State of delvish act.

“On behalf of the Muslim Community,I want to state that we condemned the dastardly act in its entirety and assure you sir that we are solidly behind you and your Government sir” he said.

Responding, Governor Ayade commended the Muslim in Cross River State for always rally behind his Government.

“My administration is ready and adequately equipped to protect all citizens against insecurity irrespective of ethnic, religious or tribal differences.

“We are One people before God and humanity, and Cross River is uniquely known for its peace and love for her citizesn, I know that both Quran and Bible preaches Peace and forgiveness and that is my believe as the Governor of the state,let us embrace peace and forgive one another” the Governor added.
