Federal Road Safety Corps Lauds Brigade, Seeks for more Synergy
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Federal Capital Territory Command, Corps Commanderย Danlami Abdul has lauded the contributions and enormous support of the Guards Brigade towards curbing road-related vehicular accidents and other crises within the Federal Capital Territory, and its environs.
Corps Commanderย Danlami Abdul made the appreciation to the Commander Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Aminu Umar, today, 16 March 2023 when he paid him a working visit in his office at Aguyi Ironsi Cantonment Asokoro Abuja.
While commending the efforts of men and officers of the Brigade, he maintained that the synergy with the Brigade has in no small means assisted the Corps towards achieving its mandate, stressing that the various safety measures put in place by the Brigade in conjunction with the agency have reduced road accident rates within the Federal Capital.
The Road Safety boss further disclosed that securing the road and road users under his watch could not be achieved alone without partnering with important stakeholders, especially the Brigade, adding that it has been instrumental in securing the Federal Capital Territory.
He used the opportunity to seek more synergy to enable the service to carry out its mandate, effectively reiterating that the Federal Capital Territory Road Safety Command looks forward towards a better working relationship with the Commander and men of the Brigade.
Responding to the Commander Guards Brigade Brigadier General Aminu Umar, while appreciating the Corps Commander and his team, commended them for the good work to ensure safe and secured roads within the Federal Capital Territory.
He further commended them for the several road campaigns and partnerships with the Brigade in the past. Also, he assured them of the Brigade’s readiness to always partner with the agency to ensure the safety of all road users within the Federal Capital Territory and its environs.
The high point of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs by the Commander Guards Brigade and group photographs.
