FG Declares Tuesday, Wednesday Public Holiday For Eid-el-Fitr
The Federal Government has announced Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9th and 10th, 2024, as public holidays in observance of the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, revealed this information in a statement released on Sunday by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Aishetu Ndayako.
The minister extended congratulations to all Muslims for the successful conclusion of fasting during the sacred month of Ramadan.
Tunji-Ojo called on them to imbibe and practise the virtues that entail kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, and compassion, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
