Federal Government Launches BESDA In Kastina State

In furtherance of efforts to put an end to the scourge of “Out of School Children in Nigeria”, the Federal Government through Federal Ministry of Education, has launched the “Better Education Service Delivery for All” (BESDA), in Kastina State.
Addressing residents of Katsina and news men during the official launching of the Programme in the state, The Hon. Minister for state Education, Dr. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba said that the BESDA programme is one of the initiatives of the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Education which was introduced earlier this year in order to fast track efforts aimed at addressing issues of “Out of School Children”.
He expressed the Federal Government’s commitment towards ensuring that issues of Out of School Children is holistically addressed, pointing that no stone will be left unturned in the drive, targeted at tackling the menace of “Out of School Children”.
Also speaking at the launching, the Kastina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Bello Masari, applauded the Federal Government for the efforts it is putting in place towards addressing issues militating Education in the country.
The Governor also commended the Minister of State for Education and his team for always being at the forefront of implementing the policies and programmes of the Federal Government, aimed at improving the Education sector of the country.
Gov. Masari, assured that Kastina State would always partner with the Federal Government in order to ensure that objectives of the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA), was actualized.
