CROSSJOF Congratulates Cross River State First Lady On Her Birthday

Cross River State Journalists Forum (CROSSJOF), FCT Chapter, has congratulated the first Lady of the state, Her Excellency, Bishop Dr. (Mrs.) Eyoanwan Bassey Otu as she marked her 61st birthday on April 10, 2025.
According to the journalists, “as the mother of our beloved state, who has been a strong pillar and a spiritual strength to her husband, Governor Prince Bassey Otu, coupled with her compassion on the women, youth and children has seen her touching lives across the state”.
In a statement by the Interim Chairman of CROSSJOF, Mrs Franscica Ogar, which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the association tasked Her Excellency Eyoanwan Bassey Otu on increase welfare for the women, children and youth in the state.
The statement reads in parts, “As we join others in congratulating you, Her Excellency Bishop Dr (Mrs.) Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the wife of Cross River State Governor, we pray that the Lord increase, strengthen you as you mark your 61st birthday and give you the grace to continue doing the good work you have started in the state, touching the lives of the vulnerable and your medical outreach across the state”, adding that “we, therefore, urge you to work towards increasing the welfare of the women in the state.
“Congratulations on your birthday madam, we wish you many fruitful years ahead, and God’s blessings always”, the statement noted.
