ACOE Announces 2025 Investiture Public Lecture & Awards
The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE), with the motto Speed, Accuracy & Truth, has announced that its 2025 Investiture Public Lecture & Awards will hold on November 25, 2025, at Azikiwe Hall, Nicon Luxury Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja.
Themed “Strengthening Corporate Online Media for National Development,” the event underscores ACOE’s commitment to promoting credible online journalism, professional development, digital innovation, and issues-based reporting that advances national growth and good governance.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by ACOE Chairman, Shola Akingboye, on November 23, 2025.
According to the statement, the event also marks three years of ACOE’s establishment and will feature:
A Public Lecture focused on strengthening strategic communication, enhancing media–government collaboration, investing in digital infrastructure, and promoting accountability-driven reporting.
An Awards Ceremony recognising champions of good governance, humanitarian service, and national security. Posthumous awards will also be presented to fallen heroes who lost their lives in the fight against insurgency and banditry since 2010.
A Gala Night, which will include the cutting of the anniversary cake and the presentation of special awards.
More than 300 participants drawn from the media, government institutions, the legislature, diplomatic missions, security agencies, civil society, and the NGO community are expected to attend.
